EMCM Presents: Colossus Brass Band

About this event

Colossus Brass Band

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Colossus Brass Band is more than just an assembly of elite players; it is a powerhouse ensemble of musicians who have devoted their lives to preserving the vibrant traditions of the Crescent City. While each member carries a unique musical legacy — many from families that have shaped New Orleans music for generations — they are unified by the teamwork and solidarity required to master the band's complex polyphonic style. We’re thrilled to have them here at the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music.
