- ➤ The Krewe of Endymion will roll through New Orleans Saturday during Carnival’s final weekend, and WWL will live-stream the parade on the WWL+ app, WWL mobile app and WWLTV.com. It will feature 3,200 riders and 81 floats with millions of throws in a festive celebration. WWL-TV
- ➤ H. Merritt Lane III, new Rex 2026 and CEO & president of Canal Barge, is set to lead Carnival celebrations in New Orleans while highlighting a $16 million donation to local charter schools and his deep ties to the Mississippi River. WDSU

- ➤ City leaders condemned the float's hateful imagery as photos circulated online showing a Black doll hung by beads from a Krewe of Tucks float, and they said they contacted krewe leadership on Saturday to seek accountability. WWL-TV
