- ➤ A Nicholls-based student pitched a plan using algae and oyster shells to produce biodiesel at a national conference, presenting research with the potential to boost local renewable energy efforts. Fox 8
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ New Orleans residents can request a recycling bin through 311 but only 42% opt in since the city canceled plans for tens of thousands of new bins due to budget concerns.
