- ➤ Goldring Woldenberg Riverfront Park opened Tuesday, April 7 at Governor Nicholls Street Wharf, replacing a former warehouse with six acres of green space, a playground and riverfront seating. - ➤ New Orleans health & environment officials are seeking $5 million from Congress to test for lead and clean up playgrounds after tests found unsafe levels in over half of 80 local parks.
