- ➤ An explosion at Chalmette Refinery on Friday afternoon shook homes and businesses and triggered a fire that was controlled in about ten minutes; air monitors confirmed the area stayed safe and no injuries were reported. WRNO

- ➤ The popular Rougabrew coffee popup is opening its first shop at 1645 Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Metairie in the coming weeks. The family-run business features a new white mural by Kenner tattoo artist Rich Sutton on a black brick building. NOLA.com
- ➤ New Orleans’ Gulf South Angels will integrate MEDA Angels members into its network immediately, with the transition continuing through early summer. - ➤ A new study in Nature Sustainability warns New Orleans could be underwater by the end of the century due to rising sea levels from climate change.
