- ➤ New Orleans police searched for a driver after a distinctive lakebound black pickup truck hit and seriously injured a cyclist and fled from the Canal and Marais intersection at 12:37 a.m. on April 5 toward Claiborne Avenue— the truck is described as a 2015—2020 model with a lift kit, green LED undercarriage lights and orange grill lights. - ➤ New Orleans police say a deadly shooting occurred Sunday around 1:40 p.m.—the incident took place at the intersection of Edinburgh and Eagle Streets in Hollygrove when EMS confirmed the victim was fatally shot inside a car. WDSU
