- ➤ Up to 3,400 customers in Kenner and Metairie are without power after a vehicle struck a utility pole, and Entergy crews are working to repair the damage while all affected customers are expected to have power restored soon (updates will follow). WDSU

- ➤ On Thursday night, vandals destroyed a community fridge and pantry (located outside Kids4Good NOLA) on Gen. Meyer Ave in Algiers (damaging a building door and leaving families without food) while local volunteers plan repairs. WDSU

- ➤ New Orleans voters voiced low approval for Mayor LaToya Cantrell after delays in fixing city issues, and a recent poll showed only 27% support. The elevated role of the City Council has encouraged council members Helena Moreno and Oliver Thomas as well as former judge Arthur Hunter to launch their bids for mayor. NOLA.com
