- ➤ Mayer Building Company and Studio West Architects rebuilt the historic Karnofsky Building at 427 S Rampart in New Orleans by reusing original bricks to restore three of four facades after Hurricane Ida caused its collapse. - ➤ A captain dispute over control of Krewe of Oshun will be heard in Orleans Civil Court today—this hearing will decide which leader takes charge of the historic Carnival krewe. The court's decision marks a key moment for the traditionally Black group during ongoing leadership challenges. WWL-TV

- ➤ Troop NOLA marked its first year in New Orleans by making nearly 500 arrests, recovering over 50 stolen vehicles, seizing about 200 firearms, and confiscating drugs to help lower violent crime—officials say the unit is part of Gov.
