- ➤ City Park Conservancy hosted final public planning meetings on June 25 at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters to review its nearly final park redevelopment plan that will restore native plants, create a central trail junction, add sports facilities, and install an artistic light feature under local highways. The plan must now get approval from the City Park Improvement Association and Conservancy board before design phases begin—some improvements like restroom fixes and signage will start within the next year as redevelopment unfolds over 20 to 25 years.
