- ➤ The New Orleans Police Department arrested Joshua 'Josh' Kagler— a 38-year-old educator from schools including George Washington Carver, McDonough 35, and Warren Easton— this morning on 12 felony charges for rape, sexual battery, and trafficking minors for sex as detectives gather further evidence. - ➤ New Orleans Police are searching for Prince John Holmes-Fisher, a 23-year-old last seen on July 19 in the 900 block of Alvar Street in Bywater — he was wearing a black knit cap, gray long-sleeve shirt, and jeans, and detectives ask anyone with information to call Fifth District at 504-658-6050. - ➤ A poll shows Councilmember Helena Moreno leads the mayor's race with 47% support—while Councilman Oliver Thomas has 16%, state Senator Royce Duplessis 14%, retired judge Arthur Hunter 5%, and 15% of voters remain undecided among 600 respondents.
