- ➤ Deputies say a 41-year-old woman is accused of killing another during an early-morning fight on Saturday at the 5200 block of Sharpe Road in Crown Point when a dispute over a handgun led to it being fired twice, hitting the victim in the head while the accused suffered a leg injury; she was later booked on one count of manslaughter after leaving the hospital. - ➤ A shooting on U.S. Highway 90 B on Sunday morning left one person dead and another wounded at 1:03 a.m.—police said two males were hit, with one taken to a local hospital. NOLA.com
