  • The New Orleans Police Department has transferred investigative responsibility for missing nonverbal 12-year-old Bryan Vasquez—last seen at his Beaucaire Street home last Thursday—to the Special Victims Division as officers continue canvassing neighborhoods and reviewing camera footage.  WDSU
  • New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell was indicted on 18 counts for not sharing records and lying to federal officials to hide her affair with bodyguard Jeffrey Vappie during trips paid by the city — she denies any wrongdoing.  WBOK
