- ➤ Baton Rouge-based All Star Automotive Group has agreed to sell its operations to Hudson Automotive Group for $700 million, forming Louisiana’s largest dealership network—covering 14 brands across 13 locations. - ➤ The annual Stormin' of the Sazerac event will take place on Friday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. in the Blue Room of The Roosevelt Hotel—inviting local fans to enjoy a celebrated tradition. WWL-TV

- ➤ Dillard University will invest Dr. Monique Guillory as its ninth president during a four-day celebration—starting Oct. 30 with a ribbon cutting ceremony, investiture reception, and gala events—and she will guide the university with over 30 years of educational leadership in New Orleans. - ➤ Today, New Orleans is expected to hit highs near 90°—92° with a 20% chance of an isolated shower as a hot, dry week continues; morning temperatures are in the 60s and 70s.
