GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A recent Fox 8 poll showed that 18 percent of New Orleans voters approved of Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s leadership while 71 percent disapproved, and many said the city is headed in the wrong direction. - ➤ A new four-story apartment building named Riverside Retreat opened in Federal City in Algiers, marking the first new housing on the old Navy base since 2011.
