- ➤ START CORP is developing a new clinic at the former St. Jude Community Center on North Rampart Street to help unhoused neighbors access medical, dental, and support services. The clinic will open in the French Quarter over the next year to offer comprehensive care and housing support. The Lens
- ➤ Residents of The Maxwell have been without water and air conditioning for weeks after workers removed the water mains and repairs have lagged behind, leaving renters with high bills and safety worries. Management said they are working with utility providers to fix the issues while a posted code violation on the pool and a closed leasing office add to resident concerns—residents say they are left without basic services. - ➤ The upcoming Power Up Women’s Leadership Conference, presented by the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce Foundation in partnership with Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R., will be held on March 13 at the Ernest N. - ➤ Southwest Airlines announced it will add summer 2026 flights from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to Las Vegas and Orlando. The airline did not share exact flight numbers and is expanding options much like Breeze Airways, United, and Frontier Airlines. NOLA.com

- ➤ Students and parents are upset after the 529 tuition savings program shut down unexpectedly, and officials from the state treasurer, Board of Regents, and state police are working to restore access—over 83,000 accounts are affected and the House Education Committee will meet to discuss the issue. - ➤ The Housing Authority of New Orleans has named Travis S. Chase as its Director of Philanthropy and Business Development to lead fundraising and start the NOLA SEEDS Foundation—an organization that will help fund affordable housing programs like Homeownership and Family Self-Sufficiency. - ➤ New Orleans voters will cast their ballot in a different council district tomorrow as new maps approved in 2022 change boundaries in many areas—affecting neighborhoods like Broadmoor, Bayou St. John and Treme.
