Fire crews poured water on Nottoway Plantation in White Castle after a fire began on May 15 that reduced the historic 1859 mansion to rubble—no injuries were reported and officials are investigating the cause.

Today, 11 inmates—including multiple accused murderers—escaped from Orleans jail, and police are working to locate them.
