- ➤ Police said a woman was killed and another wounded in a Central City shooting early Sunday on the 2200 block of Magnolia Street (the injured victim was taken to a local hospital and her gunshot wound is not life threatening). NOLA.com
- ➤ A man was injured when a fight in the French Quarter ended in a stabbing Saturday night at about 9:30 p.m. on Toulouse Street; police said he was sprayed with tear gas (before being cut) and he survived after reaching a local hospital. NOLA.com
- ➤ Authorities say a scammer posing as a NOPD officer has called New Orleans residents claiming they have arrest warrants—officials warn that the police will never call to resolve a warrant and advise hanging up to report the scam. WWL-TV
- ➤ Police say bullets flew overnight in Central City when two women were shot on the 2200 block of Magnolia Street just after midnight—one woman died at the scene while the other was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. WWL-TV
